Our Children Our Young People Our Future is Tasmania's Agenda for Children and Young People and it is all about action. It is about making sure that Tasmanian children and young people are nurtured, educated and protected to enable them to realise their full potential in life.

The role of the Office for Children is to lead the implementation of Our Children Our Young People Our Future. To do this, we work across the community and government departments to progress the initiatives that are included in the Agenda.

The Office for Children will look at what is working well now and what it really means to work in partnership. This will help inform the design of future services and measure how well we are progressing on the action areas.

The Office for Children brings together professionals with varied skills and the same goal in mind - to work towards improving the health and wellbeing of Tasmania's children and young people. We come from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education and the Department of Police and Emergency Management.
